I have had the good fortune of attending several of Scenic Light's workshops and can heartedly reccommend them to anyone who enjoys photography. Bob Evans is a true professional photographer, and master of his trade. Bob has a very personable style and takes time to listen to and work hands on with his students to determine their needs and assists in the achievement of their goals. Whether you're a seasoned photographer looking for some great photographic opportunities, or a beginner hoping to advance your skill level, I am confident Bob will help you. One of the highlights of all of his workshops is the group critique session and lectures where students have an opportunity to share and learn.

I've had the pleasure of attending half a dozen or so of Bob Evans' Scenic Light Workshops in Yosemite, Grand Tetons, Arches, Great Smoky Mountains, Bryce and Zion National Parks. Three things are constant in all of Bob's offerings:
1. He has always pre-scouted the locations to know where to be and when to be there. An example would be exactly what day and time to catch the incredible light reflections of Yosemite's Horsetail Falls.
2. Bob has an excellent ability to give people the assistance they need when they want it. He is never intrusive and always lets his students drive how much he is involved.
3. His daily "after-shoot" critique sessions are invaluable in improving his students' technique and composition skills.
Simply put, Bob's workshops are outstanding.

I have attended several Scenic Light
workshops and plan on attending many more! From the California Coast to the Eastern
Sierra, Yosemite National Park, and the colorful red rock country of Utah, Bob
Evans takes you to the locations where you can get fantastic landscape and macro
images. Add to this his insightful critiques, and you will come home as a better
photographer with some great photographs. I highly recommend Scenic Light Photography
workshops!"

You can get
a guided tour to just about any scenic area and bring along your camera for a
workshop, but Bob Evans really provides a professional-grade photographic workshop,
suitable for beginning to advanced photographers, whether working in digital or
film. While taking you to some of the most beautiful places on the planet, Bob
maintains a friendly and approachable style, and, if you think you need it, hell
practically show you where to place the legs of your tripod to capture a particular
scene. Interspersed with intensive shooting sessions are valuable and informative
critiques, often including basic instruction in Photoshop. If you dont come
back from one of Bobs classes a much improved photographer, youre
just not trying!
