A unique opportunity, to stay and shoot, at the Castle Marouatte and surrounding countryside of Southern France.
The newest of my workshops is based at the Chateau Marouatte in Gran-Brassac, France. This is a special event not to be missed.
The opportunities for great images are endless. The 7 nights and 8 days includes many shooting locations of the surrounding countryside as well as daily outings to nearby medieval towns,
Fly to Paris then you will take the bullet train and be picked up at the station by the Chateau staff.
All shooting locations and beauty of southern France and Castles. Here's everything that's included---
7 nights lodging at the Castle ( check out the rooms), ALL meals (breakfast, lunches and dinners) including beer , soda and local wines from Bergerac region. Some lunches will be at the Chateau and some will be in the medieval towns.
ALL transportation is included. Including transportation to shooting locations, and pick up and return to the train station when you leave.
The only things not included are airfare , the train to the Castle from Paris, Personal expenses.
We start on Sunday evening with a dinner and greeting session. I will cover the weeks itinerary and introduce our host and owner Miles Copeland.
Shooting begins on Monday morning with shooting around the Castle and fabulous grounds. The property is over 270 acres. In the afternoon we shoot at Brantome. With the Benedictine Abby and the River Dodgne.
Tuesday we travel to Periguex with Roman Ruins and and old Cathedral. The afternoon is a critique session and updates of Lightroom. That evening we shoot outside the castle at night.
Wednesday is shooting sunrise locations on the property, then shooting inside the castle. The afternoon is free time for sightseeing and shopping.
Thursday another trek to La Tour Blanche with ruined castles. Afternoon is critiques and lectures on Photoshop and Lightroom. Then after dark shooting the Milky Way over the Castle.
On Friday you go the Riverac and shoot the morning markets and the town, then after lunch more shooting the countryside locations.
Saturday at Montegrier for hilltop sunrise overlooking the valley. The afternoon is free time again. Saturday evening shooting the nearby river on the Chateau's property.
Sunday after breakfast we say goodbye.
A deposit of $1500 holds your seat. The Total cost for the great experience is only $3095. Also non shooting others are welcome to share the room. Discounted price of $2099 for non shooters. If 2 people share a room and participate in the workshop the cost is reduced by $500.
