Day
1
Arrival in Buenos Aires. During an afternoon city tour of
Argentina's cultural and political capital, you will get a sampling
glimpse of the diverse districts that make up this grand city.
Visit the colorful "Boca" district and the elegant North Quarter
and Palermo Park. See the government "Casa Rosada" - pink house,
the Colon Theater, May Square and drive down the famous 9th of
July Avenue. Evening Dinner and Tango Show. (D)
Day 2
Estancia Excursion and Fiesta Gaucha gives you the opportunity
to learn about and admire the traditional dances, songs and meals
of the Argentine gaucho by taking part in a real Gaucho Festival.
The party is held at a beautiful country residence in an old ranch
situated on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. (BB,L)
Day 3
Free day for shopping, touring or Tango lessons. (BB)
Day 4
Flight to San Carlos de Bariloche, a charming tourist resort
on the banks of Lake Nahuel Huapi, where you can enjoy a variety
of activities such as snow skiing, fishing, hunting and whitewater
rafting. Shopping for great bargains on cashmere sweaters and
indulging in mouth-watering chocolates are also favorite pastimes
for the visitor. (BB)
Day 5
Afternoon Circuito Chico and Panoramic View Tour to
enjoy the charming view as you drive along the road bordering
lake Nahuel Huapi. Visit Virgen de las Nieves or Pisciculture,
Campanario Hill, El Trébol lake, Punto Panorámico, López Bay and
LLao-LLao. (BB)
Day 6
Excursion to Victoria Island by launch will take you
to the beautiful scenery across Lake Nahuel Huapi to visit the
Arrayanes Woods and Victoria Island. (BB,L)
Day 7
Flight to Puerto Iguazu to see the most spectaculars
fall of world, The Iguazu Falls. (BB)
Day 8
Visit the Brazil and Argentina side of the falls including
a boat ride to the Devil's throat observation deck to enjoy the
most impressive view of the very heart of the falls. Optional
Nautical Adventure Boat excursion to the Argentinean and Brazilian
side of the Falls, to admire the falls from the bottom. Take a
short walk down from the Inferior Path to board your speed boat
to San Martin Island. You will have a view of the Brazilian side
of the falls, navigate along the island shore for a view of the
Argentine side of the falls. (BB)
Day 9
Transfer to airport for flight home. (BB)

Extension To Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Rio de Janeiro - 2 nights
Capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and also Brazil's capital
from 1763 to 1961, is nestled between the mountains and the sea.
Its magnificent shoreline includes charming bays and beautiful beaches,
dotted with islands up and down the coast. Flying into Rio is a
beautiful sight, whether it be at night or during the day, the visitor
quickly finds out why Rio is known as the Wonderful City. It is
also an important center for art and fashion. Works by Brazilian
and international artists are featured in local galleries and museums.
New styles and clothing concepts are always available in Ipanema's
elegant stores and boutiques.

Half day tour including visit to Sugar Loaf - A panoramic
tour of Rio's main beaches, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, includes
a visit to the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain (395m/1300ft)
in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. Includes cable car fee to
Sugar Loaf.
Day 3
Transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport.
