From The Atlantic to the Pacific Costa Rica
11 Days / 10 Nights

Day 1 - San Jose
Arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose. Greetings and transfer to Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar.

Day 2 - San Jose / Limon - Punta Uva
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning breakfast and departure to the Caribbean zone. Overnight at the hotel Suerre Punta Uva or similar (B)

Day 3 - Gandoca Manzanillo or Cahuita National Park
After breakfast a visit to Gandoca Manzanillo or Cahuita National Park (according to your choice) where you would be able to admire the exotic beauty of the fauna and flora of the area. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Cahuita / Tortuguero National Park
Breakfast and departure to Tortuguero National Park. We will continue on boat through the Cannals to finally arrive Hotel Laguna Lodge or similar, where you will be greeted and enjoy a delicious lunch. Visit to Tortuguero´s village during the afternoon where you will visit the Museum. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Tortuguero National Park
During the day, prepare for your journey on a boat through the canals of Tortuguero where you will be able observe a wide variety of flora and fauna from the area. Optional activities during the afternoon: canopy, hiking to Tortuguero jungle, turtle nesting (only during the season). (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Tortuguero National Park / Arenal Volcano
Breakfast at the Hotel. At the designated time, departure to La Fortuna, a village situated on Arenal Volcano slopes. Lunch on route. Arrival at the hotel Arenal Spring or similar. At night and from your hotel you will be able to appreciate, if the weather allows, the incredible eruptions of lava streams and incandescent rock explosions – unforgettable natural fireworks displays. Day 7 - Arenal Volcano
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to explore the area. We could recommend a visit to Peñas Blancas where you will enjoy the landscape and sounds of the rainforest. As you paddle through the river there will be plenty of chances to observe monkeys, iguanas, slots, crocodiles and hundreds of birds. A visit to La Fortuna Waterfalls and the Canopy tour will be worthwhile. The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge tour, a horseback ride along forest trails, fishing, and the Butterfly Garden are also highly recommended. Or you can just relax and enjoy the hotel facilities while you admire the beauty of the landscapes (B)

Day 8 - Arenal Volcano / Central Pacific Beaches
After breakfast departure to the Central Pacific Coast. One time in Puntarenas You will take the ferry on route to the Gulf of Nicoya arriving to Hotel Tango Mar or similar, lodging. (B)

Day 9 - Central Pacific Beaches
Free day to relax and enjoy the sun and the beach. (B)

Day 10 - Central Pacific Beaches / San Jose
After breakfast departure back to San Jose. Transfer to Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar. (B)

Day 11 - Departure
Transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport for your flight back home. (B)
